Point Of View

Point of View is defined as the angle from which the story is told. There are four perspectives: Innocent Eye, First Person, Stream of Consciousness, and Omniscient: either total or limited. Theme is a story’s controlling idea or its central insight.

Every story is comprised of six elements: setting, plot, character, conflict, point-of-view, and theme. This lesson will focus on setting and plot.
