A major problem facing Americans today is what to do with all the waste we produce. One element of this problem is the lack of space for garbage dumps. Alternative means of disposal have been debated and some have been implemented, such as recycling. However, with each resolution suggested another major issue affecting public health and safety arises. The trade-offs are still being discussed in this ongoing waste disposal debate.
