This lesson discusses numbers on a number line and how they can be located. The concept of a number line is reviewed and explained. The video discusses where decimals fall on a number line and how they relate to whole numbers. With examples decimals and their similarities to fractions are also explained. This video explains how to find decimals to the tenth and benchmark decimals.

To solve linear equations with decimals or fractions, the first step is to get rid of the decimals or fractions. There are simple techniques to get rid of both decimals and fractions and the techniques can be used together in case both decimals and fractions appear in the same equation. Once the equations are simplified, graph all the linear equations together.
