In this video lesson we will be looking at the Age of Exploration. The Age of Exploration or Age of Discovery as it is sometimes called, officially began in the early 15th century and lasted until the 17th century.

Charting the early explorers, their sponsoring countries and the lands they explored.

By the year 1500, many discoveries in Europe allowed them to travel further, connecting them to the Indian Ocean trade routes as well as to the new world.
