Redi's Blowfly Experiment
Mr. V uses the scientific method to explain Redi’s Blowfly Experiment. A classical work illustrating the effectiveness of a well designed experiment. One of the first experiments of Biology is the Redi’s Blowfly experiment. He wanted to disprove spontaneous generation that living things come from nonliving things. Using the scientific method that involves a hypothesis, experiment, control and a conclusion. The conclusion being that living things come from living things.

This lesson discusses Microscopes which are an instrument used to see objects that are too small for the naked eye. Microscopes, and their ability to magnify. The parts of a microscope and their uses. Ocular lens, adjustment knobs, body tube, course adjustment knob, the fine adjustment knob all used to see an image on the stage lit by the light that goes through the contender on the base. Microscopes have different powers to view an object, which is also explained.

Infectious Diseases and Different Types of Scientists
This video discusses Transmissible diseases or communicable diseases and how they began in the end of 20th century and the emerging of infectious diseases and what they are. Infectious diseases are mainly caused by microorganisms and how they enter the body to harm. This video touches on research biologists and what their jobs are and how to find ways to lessen the effects of epidemics. Epidemiologist work and track patterns and pathways of diseases and how they record and study epidemics. Pharmacologists are research physicians who devise plans for medicines. Environmental scientists seek ways to destroy carriers of diseases that affect human population. Geneticist study genes to find what geese can combat infection. Biochemists focus on technology and how to diagnose and treat diseases and malfunctions of body organs. The work of Modern biologists is varied, they apply their knowledge is various ways.

The scientific method is a body of techniques for investigating phenomena, acquiring new knowledge, or correcting and integrating previous knowledge. The scientific method and the steps involved in the scientific method. The first step in the scientific method is observation, the accurate visual noting of what are you looking at. The accuracy of an observation becomes verified when a number of people not connected to each other agree. The concept of a conclusion comes from the have agreement for accuracy of an observation to be verified. A conclusion is a judgment based on accurate observations and reasoning. The gradual order of the scientific method is explained. The second step is a hypothesis, which is a general statement to tie things together that were observed or an educated guess. The third step is the experiment to gain data, qualitative results and quantitative results to come to a conclusion to a hypothesis.
