Limiting Adjectives

Adjectives are word used to describe. Examples are adjectives are hairy, big, small, colorful and loud.

A predicate adjective is an adjective that follows a linking verb and it describes the subject. An example is "Her dog is chubby." where "is" acts as the predicate adjective.
